Welcome
to Beerfest 2011!
This year will see the launch of Heddon Valley Ales, a new venture by the Hunters Inn
and
currently brewed under license at Barum Brewery. Heddon Valley Ales have been developing a range of beers – Dr Heale, Miss Loosemoor and Mr Sluggett
- which have been well received and selling well at local festivals and shows and at the Inn itself.
Other local highlights will be award winners
Forge Brewery at Hartland whose Litehouse won Regional Champion at Tuckers Maltings in 2010 leading to a Silver in
its category at national level, and Handsome which was Regional Champion this year. In addition, Country Life Brewerys
Golden Pig has just won Silver in its category at the recent Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court. In all between
35-40 Ales from around the UK will be available.

The Ciderfest, increasingly popular,
will feature over 20 Ciders including Fruit Cider and Perry choices. Represented again will be 2010 Camra Champion, Sandford
Orchards from Crediton, Runner up Black Dragon (2010/2011), Black Rat, and for the first time, Healeys famous Cornish Rattler.

Music will be provided by a wide
variety of bands covering folk, reggae, jazz, indie, blues and rock - such as Chilly Breeze, Chris Stuckey, the Garden Club,
Louise Parker, Moon Saloon, the Padawans, the Stumblers, Truffetete. the Yum Yums, Zamba, and not forgetting last years popular
