BEERFEST 2011

Welcome to Beerfest 2011!

This year will see the launch of Heddon Valley Ales, a new venture by the Hunters Inn
and currently brewed under license at Barum Brewery. Heddon Valley Ales have been developing a range of beers – Dr Heale, Miss Loosemoor and Mr Sluggett  - which have been well received and selling well at local festivals and shows and at the Inn itself.

Other local highlights will be award winners Forge Brewery at Hartland whose Litehouse won Regional Champion at Tuckers Maltings in 2010 leading to a Silver in its category at national level, and Handsome which was Regional Champion this year. In addition, Country Life Brewerys Golden Pig has just won Silver in its category at the recent Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court. In all between 35-40 Ales from around the UK will be available.
